After going eight years with no vacation, I was conditioned into believing that I didn\u2019t deserve them.<\/p>\n
I thought my chance at finding love had come and gone years ago. It sounds over dramatic for sure, but that\u2019s where my head was at back then. When you struggle for so many years with so many bad relationships, you begin to expect experiencing more of them as time goes on. I gave up looking for a partner by the time I met my wife through a mutual friend during a concert we were all attending. We exchanged phone numbers and went on a date a week later. After that, we became inseparable. Now that we are going on a honeymoon and I am finally getting a vacation, things are feeling better in my life for a change. I\u2019m enjoying the honeymoon in part because of the climate control system in our room. Despite the high temperatures outside, the air conditioner and dehumidifier keep the inside of our room cool and dry to whatever temperature and humidity level we want it to our own comfort. It\u2019s a really nice addition to an already enjoyable trip. I just wish we had the money to take a trip like this once a year, every year. Perhaps with time I\u2019ll get closer to having the financial means of doing something like that. For now I\u2019ll enjoy our honeymoon while it lasts.
