I was ready to simply tear the air vents apart last week.<\/p>\n
I kept hearing a pet in the air vent.<\/em> <\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t constant, but it was often. I checked the living room air vent, even though I couldn’t see anything. Another hour later, I was cleaning my dining room, and the sound of a cat\u2019s meow was echoing through the air vent again. It sounded like the pet was getting deeper into the ductwork, and I didn\u2019t know where it would end up. The pet was my daughter\u2019s, and she enjoyed that little monster. If something happened to it, she would never forgive me. I walked into the bathroom, and I heard the pet again. I couldn’t figure out how the pet got into the ductwork, even though I was particular about what was going on. I called the heating and A\/C company and told them I had a pet in my ductwork. I wanted it taken out, even though I didn\u2019t want it destroyed. It took them an hour to get the heating and A\/C corporation to the house. When he arrived, I had him stand by the air vent until we heard the sound again. He looked really puzzled. He said he heard the cat, however he couldn’t believe it. He was opening all the air vents and putting food in front of them, to lure the pet out of the ductwork. My great friend and I got to the last air vent in the dining room, and the heating and A\/C tech quietly called me over. He found my son\u2019s walkie talkie inside, and it was turned on. I silently went up to his dining room. He had his walkie talkie on and he was trying to get the pet to meow, and my child was giggling. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
