Call me an eternal optimist, but I love to look on the bright side of any situation. A long time ago I was a very dour and emo type of person. To me the glass was always half empty, never half full. Eventually I just got tired of being angry and sad all the time, and decided to make a change. I started doing yoga, meditating, and smoking a lot of pot. I made a concerted effort to let go of stress and worry and just enjoy the moment. Currently I am going through some issues at home, but I continue to cast things in a positive light. When my HVAC system died, I knew that I didn\u2019t have enough money to fix it. I didn\u2019t even have enough cash on hand to pay an HVAC expert to tell me what the problem was. I could have gotten depressed, but instead I realized that this was the only time of the entire year when I could survive a few weeks without air conditioning. I live in the deep south, where we basically run our A\/C systems 9 to 11 months a year. My A\/C happened to break right in that sweet spot where the temps were nice and the humidity was low. In other words \u2013 if my air conditioner was going to break, this was the best possible time for it to happen. Now I have a few weeks to save up a little money, which hopefully will be enough to cover the HVAC repair costs so I can have it back before the muggy summer arrives. <\/p>\n
