Our boiler was working overtime & making our house way too warm.<\/p>\n
I came condo from work one cool winter night & was happy to spend some family time near our old wood boiler playing some card games, however when I got home, the house was much more than just warm, it was downright hot! I asked my wife what she had the temperature control set to & she said she had only set it at 76 degrees, however there was no way that the house was only at 76 degrees! I evaluated the temperature control & yes, it was indeed set at 76 degrees, however the actual temperature of the house was 83! I was horrified that it was so hot, & turned the set temperature way down, hoping it would cool the house to a normal temperature.<\/b> <\/p>\n
Later that night, the house did cool down, however it was still pretty warm. We all went to bed in shorts & a t-shirt because it was still quite warm. I woke up in the middle of the night cold cold, & got up to check the temperature control again! Apparently, the boiler decided to stop working altogether that night. When morning came I called the heating & cooling supplier & busy a time for an Heating as well as Air Conditioning corporation to come take a look at our old wood heater. After the Heating as well as Air Conditioning corporation did her inspection on the heater, she told me there was a lot of work to be done in order to get our boiler back into working condition. Luckily, my friend and I had been saving for years to get a new boiler & were ready to get it installed. We got a new oil boiler in our house & never had any heating or cooling concerns since. <\/p>\n
