I planned a road trip for my girlfriends and I this summer. We were all so excited to be able to spend time together and not have to worry about anything for one whole week. I decided to plan the whole trip because I knew it would be the only way to get anything done. I looked into all the hotels, booked the rental cars and even made reservations for dinner at each stop along the way. We didn’t want to spend too much money so I made sure that everything we didn’t wasn’t too over the top. I thought I had done a great job of vetting all the hotels, but I guess that I was wrong. The first hotel we stayed in was fine, but the next one was a nightmare. We had no working heating and cooling system. The lack of heating and cooling in the room made it smell so bad that it was almost impossible to go to sleep. I asked the front desk about the heating and cooling and they didn’t offer any help. They made it seem like the heating and cooling system was always on and off. I was so upset and my friends were annoyed that I picked this hotel. I guess next time I am going to have to call and make sure each room has a working heating and cooling system! I was thankful that the rest of the hotels along the way were fine and didn’t have any heating or cooling issues. I don’t think I would have been able to live that down with my friends!
