Last week my good friend and I were tracking a terrible storm that is off the coast from where I live; It was supposed to be a genuinely terrible storm and it was coming straight for us, my family did everything my good friend and I could do to prepare. My friend and I went out and purchased gallon jugs of water, non perishable goods and batteries for all the flashlights, then however, there was no gas left in the town. I know that sounds dramatic however my good friend and I genuinely could not find any gas any where my good friend and I looked. My friend and I didn’t want to risk running out of gas by driving around to much so my good friend and I had to eventually call it quits! The worst part about this is that my good friend and I will not have any gas for our generator. My friend and I will have to survive until the power gets turned back on without a/c. I know I will be good because I don’t get hot genuinely easily, even though I know my sibling will not be. He is the kind of guy that will have the cooling system turned on during the frigid months and during the summer time he constantly has the a/c vents blowing directly on him. I don’t know how he loves to keep the cooling system running so high! Lucky for me my parents have a smart control unit so I don’t have to have my room the same temperature that he does. I can keep the cooling system in my room set to a comfortable 74 degrees. My friend and I would undoubtedly get into a lot of arguments if my good friend and I had to keep both of our rooms set to the same temperature. That is undoubtedly why my parents got a smart control unit!
