I have to admit that staying up late is not one of my favorite things.
However this one night it was still not one of my favorite things.
I had to stay up because my heating was not working. I refuse to go to bed cold. I knew I wouldn’t even be able to sleep if I was cold. So I had to call the HVAC company. I knew that they would be closed. But I had to call for emergency service. I really do not call for emergencies service often If Ever. I know that it takes people out of their homes if they have to come to my house to fix my HVAC system. However I did not want to sleep in a house that would be freezing cold until the morning. I was also worried about my pipes freezing because it has been below freezing almost every night. So I called my local HVAC company to have them come to my house to take a look at my HVAC system. I knew it was going to be a small disaster. I had to stay up until 2 in the morning just for them to fix my system. It was so late at night when I had realized that my heating was no longer working. So unfortunately that was a very long night for me. I even had to get up early the next morning to go to work. That was probably the most exhausting work day I have ever had. Maybe next time I will just try to sleep through it. Although I hope there never is a next time.
