I think today is going to be a very slow day as it seems that our town has emptied itself of all of the summer tourists that were once here. School started a few days ago and that is when I noticed a lot less people in our small beach town. But today the weather is turning grayer and cooler and I noticed a lot less people are here now. So I am going to have to slow down my days and have more quiet time with myself and my cats. I plan on working more for the local business, helping them with furnace repairs and heat pump installations and repairs. I’ll do more reading and go to bed earlier at night. Normally in the middle of the wintertime season I am in bed by 9pm unless I have some kind of music gig at a club. When the weather is warmer we like to play on the beach, but in the winter it is much nicer to be in a club with some kind of heating system. The weather gets way too cold out to play music as my hands get numb and my fingers find it tough to play the chords on the guitar. We have one more month till the weather really starts cooling down so I’ve been looking for a club with good heating to do shows at. I’ll find a place soon, it’s just a matter of knocking on the right door. Someone will finally open the door for me. And if they have no heating then I will buy them a space heater.
