I still find it taxing to suppose that if you have mold or mildew or any other dangerous thing in your HVAC ducts that it is not a good idea to have it cleaned out, plus that there is no opportunity that it will end up in the air you breathe, much less permeate it.
I never thought that it was controversial to suggest that cleaning HVAC ducts is a routine part of HVAC service. I have always had my HVAC ducts professionally cleaned by an HVAC business from my local HVAC business. I have been doing business with them for almost a decade now, plus I trust their experience plus expertise. I have learn some articles online that suggest that even if your HVAC ducts are filthy, regularly any undesirable contaminants, like allergens, mold, plus mildew will remain within the HVAC ducts plus won’t necessarily blow out into the air you breathe. I find this entirely hard to believe… My apartment has metal HVAC ducts, plus I have learn that the EPA recommends that these kinds if HVAC ducts in identifiable require cleaning. I still find it taxing to suppose that if you have mold or mildew or any other dangerous thing in your HVAC ducts that it is not a good idea to have it cleaned out, plus that there is no opportunity that it will end up in the air you breathe, much less permeate it. I have heard that other HVAC ducts that are designed with more flexible materials may not need cleaning as often. I know I take the middle road viewpoint: you should not necessarily completely ignore the kind of stuff that could be festering in your HVAC ducts, although some types of HVAC ducts may need cleaning less often than others. Moreover, above all, I trust the expertise of expertiseable, certified, plus experienced HVAC businesss! The HVAC business I toil with hasn’t steered me wrong yet.
