I remember when there were record cutting low temperatures during the winter season season while I was growing up.

There were always years with sizzling summer time weather, however it was the blizzards plus the barrage of snowfall in December plus February that I remember the most.

One winter season was so chilly that we had a snowfall one night of six feet in total. When we woke up the next day, we could see snow up the windows around the first floor of the home plus barely managed to dig ourselves out altogether.
