I was sort of embarrassed a bit when I picked up my friend at the airport.
He was in for business.
I had invited him to stay the weekend with us & he promptly accepted. This meant he was going in the dreaded cold end of the house. So I had to tell him that we’d crank the Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating so he’d be warm. He laughed like I was kidding. But the next morning, he was hip to what I was talking about. Our home is older & there is a part where it’s just drafty & cooler than the rest of the house. That includes the guest room. I’d had the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals out to have a look. It’s not the Heating, Ventilation & A/C component which my pal and I had substituted when my pal and I bought the locale. It was the home that was leaking Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating & letting cold air in as well. When my friend got up the next morning, he told me that he had the same situation in his locale & had just the strategy to service it. He had some meetings to go to & asked me to go pick up an instant learn temperature gun. When he came back, the temps were dropping fast & the gas furnace was cranking. That’s when my pal and I hunted down the heating leak with the temp gun. And my pal and I found it in a different locale that sort of incorporated the eaves & a window casing. I truly called the window people out & they were able to take care of it. During our hunt, my pal and I marked all the other locales I needed to seal up as well. It’s unbelievable the change in our home & the savings on Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating.
