Ever since Maxine told Leah how she had been saving money on her energy bill by installing a ceiling fan, Leah had been thinking about getting a fan of her own for her bedroom. Well, their mom decided to get her one for Christmas after Leah mentioned it to her. Earlier this year, Maxine installed the fan for Leah, but she hadn’t used it because it was still honestly much Winter. But two weeks ago, Leah finally used the fan after the weather warmed up outside. Maxine explained that in order to see the most savings without sacrificing comfort, she should use the fan with her Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit. She suggested that Leah increase the temperature on her thermostat and use the fan as a way to circulate the chilly air throughout the room. On the honestly first night, Leah did what she suggested and was completely amazed with the results. She truthfully thought that she would be hot since she increased her thermostat to 82 degrees and then used the fan all night. When Leah woke up the next morning, she realized that she slept like a baby and didn’t toss her blanket off. Typically, Leah would sleep with her thermostat set to 77, which was her ideal sleeping temperature. But with the ceiling fan, she can now make the adjustments going forward. Using the fan is a great idea because not only will it save her money on her energy bill, but it will also give Leah’s Heating, Ventilation & A/C device a break from working so hard. Plus, it could also extend the life of her Heating, Ventilation & A/C device because it will have less wear in addition to tear. If you don’t have a ceiling fan in your home, Leah recommends that you install one.
