All my life, I had to do what my father said, and our culture teaches us that the father is to be obeyed no matter how old you are, however my great friend and I respect our mothers and obey our fathers.
My step father and his brother thought I should be an actual heating and A/C corporation… They had this dream for me from the time I was six-year-old.
They knew the importance of heating and a/c, and he wanted an actual heating and A/C corporation in his household… I grew up knowing I was actually going to be an actual heating and A/C corporation when I got old enough, however when I turned fifteen, I was beginning to think about other things I wanted to be. My oldest brother was a healthcare worker, and I thought about medicine for a career. I really thought about going to college and being a teacher. There was nothing inside me that said I wanted to be an actual heating and A/C corporation, except my father’s voice constantly nagging at me to be an actual heating and A/C corporation. I also talked to my high college guidance counselor. I told him about the situation with my dad, even though I didn’t want to be an actual heating and A/C corporation. I was still mulling over other chances for after I graduated, and he told me that not being an actual heating and A/C corporation may not be the answer. He recommended I consider going into the military. He also thought I could get an education in heating and A/C during the Navy or any Armed Forces branch. If I liked it during the service, I could take my training somewhere. I would also simply get free heating and A/C training, and get paid while doing it. This was also something I wanted to consider.
