For sure, I’m all for breaking costs around the house. I spend far too many hours inside the commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of the office to waste any of my difficult acquired money. I’m thankful to have a family who supports me when it comes to reining in costs. Much of my income is predicated on a bonus structure. So there are times when I have to supply everyone the heads up to be particularly careful about what they spend. And pretty much since the beginning of the pandemic, I have been careful about spending. When I was working from the central air conditioning of the home during the worst of it, there was no bonuses at all. In fact, the bonus structure has only been back in location for the last 18 months or so. So we are again making sure that we are super careful with the control unit setting to save on cooling costs. The Summer heat is for sure our biggest challenge when it comes to utility costs. The mild winter sure helps as the heating costs are basically negligible. Still, we make up for it in the Summer. That means keeping the home sealed up narrow and stopping direct sun heating with blinds and drapes being pulled each afternoon. I program the digital control unit as well so we don’t have air conditioning running too much in an empty house. Still, with as much as we do to save on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C costs, I don’t skimp on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair. Without fail, we get Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair in the Fall and again in the Springtime. Our residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is just too important to our family not to pay on consistent, seasonal Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair.
