Will the heat pump get to the finish line?

The suspense is actually killing me.

And it’s sort of stressful as well, when you bet on a 28 year old heat pump to get through one more Summer, the outcome is particularly in doubt, but when you still make that bet after the Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional told you not to, that’s where the stress comes in.

The Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional had told me during the heating maintenance that the heat pump was on its way out. Then again after the a/c tune up in May, the Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional suggested replacing the heat pump. But that was just not the way I wanted to go. And there are some equally dumb reasons for that approach. The first and perhaps the dumbest is the fact that I didn’t have the cash saved for current residential Heating, Ventilation and A/C, and for sure, I am aware of how long we’ve lived in this house. I mean, the kids are now almost grown as my friend and I only have one more in school, but my husband and I did other renovations to the home and made upgrades. So how did I not consider starting to save for the current Heating, Ventilation and A/C component much, much earlier? Plus, I’m just loathe to get rid of anything that still has any life to it. The 22 year old truck in the driveway is a good example. So hear my friend and I are in mid June when it’s steaming outside. And I’m wondering each time the a/c comes on if it will be the last time, and like I said, the suspense is killing me. I’m doing my best to ease the load on the heat pump. But I still have the rest of this month and all of September and most of September to deal with, and yep, this is stressful and I should have just listened to the Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional last Fall.
