A trip down memory lane that had us talking about our electric furnace at the time

The other day at Thanksgiving, my siblings and I told stories and reminisced about our young afternoons in the cold town we grew up in.

We loved making a snowman, snow angels, and snowball fighting which was a number one.

Though we had snow gloves on, our little hands would be chilly. When we had enough to play we’d run to the house which at the time had an electric Heating, Ventilation and A/C. Since the winters were intense, Mum would ensure that he booked an appointment with the heating worker for comprehensive boiler repair. When I grew up and became an Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist, I understood the importance of respected boiler tune-ups. They were to ensure the heat pump replacement did not malfunction during winter. It was also meant to keep the heating device functioning optimally. Since we used an electric heat pump that worked all year round, Mum had been proposed by the Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman to tune it up officially, and regularly tuning up the component saved a lot on energy costs. I remember we had a pamphlet with a list of energy-saving tips. Mum would refer to it every time! Later, when there was a technology boom, we upgraded our regulator to a wireless thermostat that Mum got at a discount from the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor which had a sale for some Heating, Ventilation and A/C products for sale. We could now control the temperature in our rooms using our PCs, which was very convenient. We shifted from washable filters to HEPA filters. A lot about electric heaters have changed apart from the fact that they provide excellent heating during winter, which allows kids to play outside and come to a cozy home.
