My wife saved the HVAC equipment

I’m normally the sort of person who thinks through things before just diving head first into a situation.

That’s good and it’s bad.

For sure, I life the fact that I can prepare and assess things before taking something on. At the same time, it’s been said more than once that I’m not exactly spontaneous. I get that. I’m up and out of the central air conditioning of the house for work at nearly the same exact time each day. I take the same lunch and work at the same desk inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. Actually, that zone controlled HVAC is new and I couldn’t be a bigger fan of that. Now, our little cluster of cubicles can adjust the air conditioning throughout the day and not swelter when the sun hits our side of the building. I come home each night to get some exercise outside of the air conditioning before helping my wife with chores and getting dinner on the table. Shampoo, rinse, repeat over and over every day. So I have to say that I surprised even myself when I decided to have a look at the HVAC equipment. I got home first to find the heat pump running but zero cooling coming from the air ducts. Why I didn’t just reach out to the HVAC company right then, I don’t have a good answer for. I think it was the fact that I was so puzzled by the fact that the heat pump was doing its thing like normal but no cooling. I decided to take a look. Thankfully, just as I was about to take the front panel off the HVAC unit, my wife came home. She did call the HVAC professionals and essentially saved me from ruining our heating and cooling equipment.
