Working abroad has been the best experience of my entire life.
I’m so blissful I took a leap of faith and went to work abroad when the option presented itself. I actually missed my parents the entire time I was away, but I also got to meet amazing people. The experiences also with my new friends is something I can’t quite put to words. That was about five or so years ago when I arrived at my apartment with the news that I got a task abroad. I’d not told mom and dad I applied for the position because I doubted I’d get it. They needed someone with much more experience, but I went for it anyway and got the job offer. Now, I’ll be moving back home to start a new position at a weird corporation and I prefer the experience. My first thought when I opted to move back to home was to buy a house. Dad has experience with this, so I entrusted him with the task. Since it would be a year before I got back, we chose a cheaper apartment that needed roof replacement. The apartment had good bones, was in a good location, but had stood neglected for some time. This is why we opted for roof replacement instead of roofing service to make it livable. Mom too jumped into action to hire a roofing corp to come and tackle the roof replacement. He’d dealt with this roofing company before when they did roof service at his house. So he was sure they had the capability to handle a new roof upgrade. After roof replacement, the next task would be the interior, including adding new and modern appliances to my new lovely home.
