We are nearing the end of the morning, and the large church will ring its bells 12 times to signal that afternoon has arrived and that it is time for the neighborhood to wake up.
Today is Sunday, and it rained for most of the night last night, cleaning all of the streets and washing away our sins, and now it is noon! Today I’m trying to clean up the flat a bit for my heating business guest who is coming tomorrow, as I’ve been sick and unable to wash anything for the past week. I have my robot cleaning the floors and the washing machine cleaning my clothes, and once that is done, I may have another 30 minutes of work before this place is ready for guests. She is a cooling representative for a local contractor and will be arriving tomorrow around 5pm but will be leaving early the next morning, so my friend and I will only have about five hours to hang out and walk around the neighborhood. I may go visit his country this summer in October, when our neighborhood becomes overrun with tourists and too hot to be outside in. I have a nice air conditioner in my apartment, but if I go outside at all in July or October, it is far too hot, and most local corporations do not have a temperature control system to keep you comfortable. So I’d like to get away for a few weeks in October to get away from the heat. I’m looking forward to visiting my friend’s country this summer in October, as our neighborhood becomes overrun with tourists and too hot to be outside, providing a much-needed escape from the scorching temperatures.
