I just found out that my ex-girlfriend is moving back to our small beach town, which is fantastic for me because he is now just a ghost of the past, and my buddy and I are on great terms. She’s moved around a lot in the five years I’ve known him, and it appears that he’s doing the same. I just wish he could find happiness and peace in his life, as well as mine and yours, because that is all my friend and I are looking for, right? My peace comes from playing music in local corporations around the neighborhood as well as affixing with people while creating modern songs and sounds, which I haven’t been able to do for over a week now because I am still recovering from a nasty flu that laid me out pretty badly this past week. I managed to keep doing my heating and cooling system work every day, which is a miracle given my high fever and body aches. Now that my symptoms are mostly gone, I’m back on the road to recovery, thanks to my whole-apartment whole-home air purifier for keeping the indoor air quality nice while I was sick. I only have a few sniffles left, but they are on their way out, along with the congestion that is still working its way out of my lungs. I’ll play the drums and sing later with a friend who works in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and hopefully have some fun making music in the streets next to this local business.
