In another two hours, my friend and I will be playing, and it should be a good afternoon for it because the streets are pretty packed with people from other towns.
I’m going to force myself to write two more of these before it’s time for a salad. I’ve had the flu for a week, so I still have no sense of taste, so this salad won’t taste all that great, but I need to eat something to help me get some nutrients to help me get over this thing. I could always just blend it up in my blender and drink it, but that sounds kind of gross to me, so I’ll just chomp my way through it and call it good. My cooling system kept me comfortable and cool last night, and I think I ended up sleeping for about 10 hours. This gave me a nice dose of energy for this week, allowing me to play in the band later and have a little fun. My washable HEPA filter will be cleaned before I leave so that when I run the air conditioning in my living room later, there won’t be any dust in it to aggravate my pollen allergies. Before I go play, I’m going to try and get some rest so that my batteries are fully charged and I’m ready to go, so that my friend and I can put on a good show for any onlookers. As my friend and I play at the church by the sea later, the sea breeze will act as a natural air conditioner to keep us cool.
