You know how unpleasant being sick is, so I’m especially relieved to be feeling better now that I’m over the flu that I had.

I’ll finish the last 20 or so minutes of work, write four more stories, eat a tasty salad with tuna, and then return to the office. I’m excited to create some contemporary sounds and music because my friend and I will be playing some music later. Each time my friend and I play, we usually come up with a few songs, and I’m curious to see where this week’s batch of songs will take us. It feels like I’ve just gone through a cleansing because I’ve been ill for a week and am now feeling better. Next week, I’ll be starting up my job with the cooling company once more, and it will be nice to work on programming smart thermostats once more while finally feeling well. This week is Mother’s Day, so I have to call my cooling representative dad, but I prefer to finish these heating and air conditioning system stories first so I can unwind. I don’t want to call too early because she won’t be able to talk because my stepdad won’t be awake because he’ll still be sleeping and dad is on the road with them, and I assume they are staying in a hotel somewhere. She could talk in the bathroom or perhaps they have a media air cleaner because air conditioners and heaters are good at canceling out noise when someone is still trying to sleep.
