Left are seven cooling systems

My, what a week it was.

Having been sick with the flu the entire time, I’m relieved to be feeling better at last after spending the entire week in bed.

The fever and aches are all gone, but I don’t currently have my sense of smell. The wicked sore throat I had for about four afternoons, coupled with the fact that I could barely sleep at all during the day due to the pain of swallowing, was probably the worst part of the entire ordeal. But I made it through and am now well on my way to recovering fully. The media air cleaner really did help a lot to keep the air quality good while I was ill and also worked well as a colorless noise machine at night when the bar out back was so loud. Now that my buddy and I are getting ready to play outside later this week, I can get my life back on track and get the band moving in the right direction. I need to clean my HEPA filter this week to get rid of the dust and pollen on it, and then tomorrow I’m going to the HVAC contractor to see if I can buy a new one. It was impossible for me to practice last year with how I felt, so I’ll start practicing Spanish again tomorrow and move ahead with that as well. Have a good afternoon! Today appears to be a pleasant afternoon, so I can open the windows and once again enjoy some natural climate control and fresh air in this apartment. The scent of spring blossoms fills the room as the gentle breeze carries away the remnants of my illness, rejuvenating my senses and reminding me of the beauty that awaits outside.
