Around this time of year, our calls seem to get busier and busier and it’s one of those things that I always expect to happen. However, every year I’m still blown away by how much work I have to do around this time of the year. I suppose that if you’re thinking about getting a gas fireplace or a wood burning fireplace, you might already be too late if you’re trying to get it installed this year. A lot of people seem to feel that they don’t have to wait in line like most people else do, however that’s not the case. I have a waiting list a mile long, and it seems like most people who are calling and asking about fireplaces seem to want me to transfer them up to the top of the waiting list. I can’t do that, plus it’s difficult to try and keep up with everything that is going on. I believe that people truly want to have fireplaces installed before Christmas, however sometimes that’s just not possible. I wish that people would just understand that they can’t wait around till the last minute and then get the things that they want.
