I’m a firm believer that there is just no good reason to forego getting consistent, seasonal HVAC maintenance.
I believe we all need to be signing up for HVAC service plans or making it a semiannual event to get HVAC maintenance.
Of course it cost money. I’ve had some homeowner tell me that the HVAC service from a professional is just a scam. HVAC maintenance is nothing more than a way to bilk customers out of money is what I hear. What these people are really saying is that I’m going to make up some fake reason not to put money into taking care of the HVAC equipment. Honestly, that’s really what it comes down to. The idea that the HVAC service plan is some sort of scam is completely ridiculous. Part of my HVAC service plan includes heating maintenance in the winter and an air conditioning tune up in the spring. Another part of the HVAC service plan states that if there is ever a break down involving my HVAC equipment, the HVAC company picks up all the HVAC service costs. All I have to pay for are the parts. So if the HVAC maintenance was a scam, then why would the HVAC company be so willing to risk so much free HVAC service. No, folks will make things up in their mind to justify just about anything. It’s important to resist that sort of foolishness and put your money into good HVAC maintenance. HVAC equipment is just too essential to our lives not to have it taken care of.
