I’d like to suppose that this wasn’t the case, however we’ve reached that moment in time.
You see, for the past 5 months I’ve been trapped indoors with my family. They have been driving me crazy for at least the past 4.5 months of this ordeal. Unfortunately, there’s no real end in sight when it comes to ending our quarantine or getting everyone out of the condo again. It seems like my friend and I might be stuck with this setup for another year. And there was no way I could rest another moment of that. Things started getting tough when the outdoor air started getting boiling and humid. As the summer time season set in, our outdoor climate needed a extreme overhaul. The indoor air quality was brutally boiling and humid all the time. The teenagers never stopped complaining about the central Heating plus A/C settings or thermostat controls from the first day of summer time onward. Of course, they couldn’t go abuse a public Heating plus A/C system by going to the movies or Starbucks. Instead, they just wanted me to adjust the central Heating plus A/C settings moment by moment to compensate for all of their air temperature preferences. I desperately tried to keep everyone blissful… for a while. And then my friend and I saw what our biweekly bills looked like after all that Heating plus A/C manipulation. In the end, I went online and bought 3 brand new mini split ductless heating and cooling systems. Each kid now has their own Heating plus A/C unit. They can adjust the temperature however they want, so long as they leave me alone.
