HVAC shop has the worst communication

The older I get the more I realize that I have certain weaknesses.

Of course, I’ve always known this.

However, some of them are getting more specific. Recently, it came to my attention that I am an awful communicator. I’ve always thought that I was fairly skilled with general communication. These days, I’m quite certain that I’m not cut out to be conducting important conversations or business deals. I’m just not good at getting all the details across. But hell, at least I know that I’m better than the HVAC shop I hired the other week. From the start, it was clear that things were going to be difficult with this HVAC repair shop. When I called the dispatch operator, she couldn’t find my address on Google. She insisted that I verify the address for my routine HVAC repair job, even though I had used their heating and cooling repair services before in the past. When we finally had settled up my address, the HVAC dispatcher never provided me with an actual appointment time for my heating and cooling maintenance service. I called back and inquired when the HVAC technician would be arriving, only to be told it was “TBD.” As the days passed by, I didn’t hear from the HVAC shop. Until the moment the heating and cooling worker arrived at my house unannounced, that is. Even after he performed my routine HVAC maintenance service, I wasn’t sure that the heating and cooling system was cared for. He left without saying a word. Again, I called the HVAC repair shop to make sure my central air handling system was good to go… this time, the HVAC dispatcher told me that I was needy.
