Our neighborhood marijuana dispensary flourished during shutdown.

When the marijuana dispensary opened in my neighborhood, I went down to meet the new owner.

I like meeting new people and I thought he would be an interesting person.

Mike was a younger guy, around middle to late twenties, and reminded me of a surfer from California or Hawaii, with the long hair and laid back clothing. But, he was very friendly and really knowledgeable about his products. Before long, I found myself seeking him out for a quick chat when I visited the marijuana dispensary. He may look like a surfer dude, but he went through a lot of training and red tape to open his marijuana dispensary, which shows intelligence, determination and focus. I got to really like the guy and I enjoyed conversions with him about a variety of topics. That’s why I was really concerned when the marijuana dispensary closed for the shutdown. I got the impression that Mike didn’t have a lot of extra money and he had to be losing money during the shutdown. I was afraid his business would end up closing for good. When businesses started reopening, I was happy to see that Mike was still in business. When I told him about my concerns, he laughed. It turns out that he had been offering delivery during the shutdown and his business flourished. I wasn’t aware that marijuana dispensaries could offer delivery but I thought it was an incredibly creative idea. Mike told me that during the shutdown, sales have skyrocketed. I thought that was great. Mike deserves to be successful with his marijuana dispensary.
