It’s been almost two years since my associate moved in down the road from me, however neighbor may be a loose term given how spread apart the houses are in the forested area I live in, however I make sure to introduce myself to any current people in the area. When I saw the moving truck outside one morning, I stopped by to say hi. The man moving in was an elderly guy who was wanting to escape to a more natural, peaceful environment in his outdated age. I gave to help rearrange his furniture after the moving guys left, & have since stopped by once a week to check in on things! Last winter my pal and I got some rather heavy snow for the region of the country & I was sad with how the chilly would affect my neighbor’s health, so called to make sure his heating system was working alright. At that point in time his heating system had still been working respectfully, however a week later it broke down, and he didn’t want to inconvenience me so instead of mentioning it he called the Heating & Air Conditioning dealer in our town to have a specialist come & service it, & waited out the time until the appointment by keeping his oven running to sizzling the house. I was confused when I drove by & saw the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist’s van parked in front of his house; By the time I pulled in he was pulling out, with the Heating & Air Conditioning maintenance finished & his heating system working as nice as new. If he had said something to me sooner I would have cheerfully let his stay with me until it could be fixed, but he valued his independence more & didn’t want to put me out. I’m just cheerful it all ended well.
