My uncle has worked in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C industry for over a decade now and she always has wild stories to tell about the different purchasers he’s encountered at every family gathering. She can rant for days about the cases he’s seen where self-proclaimed handymen have tried and failed to repair their own malfunctioning Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component only to make the situation far worse and a lot pricier to fix. He’s truly persistent in telling most people to contact him instantly if their cooling system or boiler is experiencing any concerns. If you were to go by the way she talks about it, a broken Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system is only one step up from the end of the world, and I shrugged it off just like most people else until I easily needed some assistance. Things were going just like any other afternoon, near the start of June, when my AC started to make a loud rattling sound! Of course, due to her frequent reminders to call him if something goes wrong, I knew to call my uncle about the problem. I tried to explain the noise to see if she could tell me a straight-forward repair to the problem but she insisted on coming over himself to take a look at it. I was grateful for her help but I got an earful that night for the negligence of my system. The filters were blocked up from lack of cleaning, something I had overlooked, and some debris had managed to work its way down into the motors. She spent the night teaching me the correct way to disinfect out a gunked up Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system and she seemed glad to be of help to a member of the family.
