Fishing trip and the cottage fireplace

My Husband recently went on a fishing trip and had such a nice time.

He and his siblings travelled up into the mountains for their “guys weekend”. This was supposed to be a enjoyable and fun time for all of them. However, they are used to the comforts of household as well. They were superb with staying in a cottage, as long as it had cooling system. When they arrived at their endpoint it was a beautiful area. The cottage was situated just feet from the lake and it was cooler there than at home. Once unpacked they headed to the lake. They were all actually excited about fishing and sharing a few nice laughs. Hours later as it was getting late, they built a small fire and continued spending quality time. My partner was the first to head inside for the night. The temperature outside was still around 70 degrees. Perfect for spending time outside however not for a nice night’s sleep. He checked the temperature control and it was set to 65 degrees. It just seemed too hot in the cottage so he investigated and found that the Heating and A/C system was not turned on. He turned in on and heard a horrible bang. Uncongested it and found that it was not operational at all. It was too late to call anyone from the rental household at that point so they all knew that they were in for an uncomfortable night of sleeping. Early the next afternoon an Heating and A/C corporation was sent out to service the system. Once it was up and running the trip went great. It is so pressing to check your heat and air when on holiday before it is a problem late at night. This makes it easier on all the people involved. Lesson Learned for next time.
