My wife and I have been living in the same place for a while now. We really love our home and it is where our children have grown up. I really don’t want to leave this house, but I know there is a lot that needs to be done so that we can continue to live comfortable in this house for many years to come. I really don’t want to make our kids back up and move when they have grown to love this house so much. I am going to work with a local contractor to put together a list of all the things we need to have done around the house. I know the first thing that will need to be fixed is the HVAC system. The current HVAC system has been in our house since it was built and that was almost twenty years ago. I am not sure how often HVAC systems need to be replaced but I am sure we are due if not overdue. I am hoping the contractor will just call a local HVAC company and figure out how much it will cost for me. I really don’t feel like dealing with a HVAC company because I never know what I am talking about and it makes me a little bit nervous to start negotiations when I am unsure of myself. I hope that this whole process goes smoothly and we don’t have to move out for a few months while the upgrades are going on.
