I travel a ton for work. I am glad that at this time in my life I don’t have a wife or kids because I would never get to see them. I have recently got a promotion so I have been trying to take advantage of all the travel I get to do for work. I have an apartment in the city but I feel like I am only there a few times each month because of my insane travel schedule. While I am home, I always try to find ways to save a little bit of money while I am gone. Recently, I was reading an article about smart thermostats and how the average user will save up to thirty percent on their energy bill each month. I thought this would be a great investment and I called a local HVAC company right away to see how much it would cost to have the smart thermostat installed in my apartment. To my surprise it wasn’t nearly as much as I thought it would be so I made an appointment to have the smart thermostat installed. I am going to have the HVAC tech teach me how to use the smart thermostat so that I can adjust it on my phone while I am traveling for work. I am really excited about this and I hope it will save me money on my next energy bill. It sounds like a lot of other people have had success with them before.
