Second law of thermodynamics states: ” The heat spontaneously moves from hotter bodies to bodies less heated .” Is it possible to force the heat to move in the opposite direction ? Yes, but in this case, additional costs of energy ( work) .

Systems which heat is transferred in the reverse direction is often called heat pumps. The heat pump can be a vapor compression refrigeration system , which consists of the following major components : compressor, condenser , expansion valve and evaporator. Gaseous refrigerant enters the compressor inlet . The compressor compresses the gas , with its pressure and temperature increase (universal gas law Mendeleev – Clapeyron ) . Hot gas is fed into the heat exchanger , called a condenser, where it is cooled , transferring its heat to water or air , and condenses – passes into a liquid state. Next, at high pressure fluid path set expansion valve reduces the pressure of the refrigerant. The compressor and the expansion valve closed hydraulic circuit divide into two parts: the high pressure side and the low pressure side . Passing through the expansion valve portion of the liquid evaporates and the temperature of the stream decreases. Continue reading

” EKODAN ” – economical heating

Unlike conventional heating systems based on the combustion of gas or liquid fuel , as well as direct transformation of electric energy into thermal energy in the heat pump is not consumed to produce heat , but only its transfer from the external environment . That’s what makes these systems an attractive solution for space heating and hot water at sites with limited energy resources.

Heat pumps ” Ekodan ” manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric, intended for individual heating and hot water town houses and similar buildings that do not have access to such a relatively cheap energy sources such as gas and liquid fuels , as well as substantially limited in the electrical power input .

Maximum heat output of a system of ” Ekodan ” is 14 kW, which is commensurate with modern heat loss of individual country houses. To increase the power provided an opportunity to cascade systems.

Heat pump ” Ekodan ” consists of two units : the outdoor unit , which is largely similar to the outdoor unit air conditioner, and indoor unit – hydronic heating water performing . Units are equipped with all the necessary control devices , control and regulation . Installation of such a system is no different from conventional air conditioning installation – cope with it any HVAC company . Excludes complex design heating and DHW system of separate components: a hydronic distribution system simply connects to the sanitary water use , as well as forward and reverse heating pipes . Two years ago the management of the concern Systemair was decided to consolidate the production of all heating equipment under the brand Frico. On the one hand, it significantly expanded the possibilities, but on the other – significantly increased the responsibility for the possible failure of the local , including Ukrainian , markets.

At the same time the company’s strong growth came through acquisitions and air curtains manufacturers (Gelu, Shearflow, Tekadoor) in Europe . Partially their products poured into the main lineup, expanding its capabilities, partly dubbed the already existing model curtains Frico.

Thus, by the beginning of 2012 under the brand Frico produces more than 390 different air curtains . They were made in different countries, in different companies , with different technologies and different hardware components .

This circumstance prompted Systemair engineers to develop a new generation of air curtains that would connect a results of the most recent studies with new technological possibilities .

According to specialists, the diversity of the manufactured equipment could be without prejudice to the consumer to replace 150 models , making them the most versatile. Primarily developed product series PA3500 and PA4200, designed to replace the hangings series AS300/400 , AD300/400 and AG/AGV4000. Horizontal model with appropriate accessories can be connected in a continuous line , installed vertically and join column or placed in a suspended ceiling . Dimensions curtains from 1 to 3 m in increments of 0.5 m equipment available in versions without heating (A) , with electrical ( E) and hot water coolant with different parameters (WH, WL, WLL). Choosing conditioner

Thanks to the continuous development of science and technology humanity can afford more and more everyday amenities . Thus, the widespread use of electricity provides ample opportunity for the introduction of a variety of devices to facilitate the daily work and create comfortable living conditions . Meaningful application of the laws of thermodynamics has allowed just less than a century ago to create a fridge, which was perhaps one of the most essential home appliances representatives today.

Use of the same principles , only in a different form , some time later made it possible to develop the production of air conditioners, the most coveted devices in the warmer months . With the onset of summer heat is hard to overestimate the benefits of air conditioners. And sitting in the 40 degree heat in a room at a comfortable 20-25 degrees it is not inconceivable conditioners good civilization. Continue reading

Principle of morning dew

Dehumidifiers condensing type (based on the refrigeration unit) used in residential and ancillary rooms apartments and cottages in the pools and on-site . They afford to rapidly lower the relative humidity in the room with 90-100 % to the most comfortable and supportive for the human body 40-60%. An indispensable condition : drainage should be performed indoors, the temperature of which corresponds to a range of operating temperatures of the selected device .

During operation of wet air in the room passes through the desiccant evaporator on the cold surfaces of which the moisture condenses , and then flows down and is drained into the sump . The dehumidified air is fed to the condenser fan , where it is heated and returned to the room.

Due to repeated passage of air through the dryer air humidity gradually decreases , resulting in enhanced processes of evaporation from wet surfaces of walls and furniture. Getting rid of the excess moisture , and design things dry up , then the humidity in the room is no longer beyond the user-specified values – and dryer automatically shuts off. Continue reading

EFFECTIVE WATER WITH GRUNDFOS – the right way to conserve resources

As is known , Ukraine not apply to countries with efficient use of natural resources . However, over the years , this problem becomes more acute. Significant place in wildlife occupy the rational use of water resources is .

Today, the only tool stimulating the end user to save resources (water , energy ) are tariffs, which significantly outpaces growth official inflation. But do not forget about the water suppliers , who also have to pay the state at the relevant rates for use of water resources . When water is taken and reset rates above the established limits defined by the state, increased significantly.

Therefore, the main task facing the water distribution system is to ensure a stable water supply , water management , which can be very scarce , detection and elimination of pipe rupture , leakage reduction and keeping operating costs as low as possible . Here one of the most effective solutions is to upgrade water systems engineering , which involves the use of high-tech pumping equipment together with modern automated control systems . TOSHIBA – CARRIER: the perfect fusion

Global air market (ie means of conditioning, ventilation and heating) , which has grown over the last decade and a half times more than $ 80 billion . In recent years, the struggle to share between producers climatic technology significantly worsened . In August 1998, Japanese and American , TOSHIBA Corporation Carrier signed a Memorandum of Understanding “with the aim of forming a strategic alliance that will bring together complementary product line of both companies .”

The new corporation TOSHIBA Carrier Corporation ( TCC ) – TOSHIBA owns 60 % of the volume , Carrier- 40%. This merger represents an almost perfect model of partnership . TOSHIBA among the ten largest companies in the world – manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment (total sales revenue – $ 54 billion in 2000 ) , has 10 % in the international market of air conditioning, specializes in the development of split systems . During its 125 -year history TOSHIBA received more patents for invention, than any other company in this field. Many of her designs have changed the face of the market . A special place is occupied by the creation of split systems in 1961 , the first inverter technology , launched in 1981, and much more. Continue reading
