I can’t tell you how many times I had to wait for a repairman, only to have him show up hours late and be out of the loft within fifteen minutes.

It is one of the most annoying things I have gone through.

I can handle when my family has hiccups, although I can’t handle this kind of incompetency. My a/c was experiencing a few hiccups, and I called the heating and air conditioning contractor. I told them what was happening, and asked how long it would take to service the cooling system, but she also told me I would need to talk to the heating and air conditioning specialist when he got there. I asked to talk to a tech before I hung up, even though she said there were none available. I would simply need to wait for the specialist to arrive, and then he would inspect the A/C unit and tell me how long it was going to take to make the repair. I heard nothing but he would get here when he got there, and he would take as long as he wanted to make the repair. She also gave me time of arrival and made me aware of the window of arrival. Two hours after the arrival time, I was still waiting for the heating and air conditioning specialist. When he got there, it didn’t take long for him to tell me I needed a new fan motor. I asked how long it would take to make the repair? When he said it all depended on if they had a fan motor for my a/c, or needed to order it, I got extremely annoyed. I told the person I talked to that I thought I needed a fan motor, and yet she didn’t tell this to the central heating and air conditioning specialist.
