The heating and air conditioning specialist walked to the house.

I was really surprised to see the heating and air conditioning specialist walking up the sidewalk.

He had his tool bag in hand, and looked like he was enjoying a late Spring constitution. I had never seen an actual heating and air conditioning tech who wasn’t in his service van. What if he actually needed parts? He didn’t have enough room in his tool bag for a/c parts. My mind was racing now. Maybe he lost his license from a DUI. Maybe he did not have a driver’s license. How would he get back to the heating and air conditioning contractor if he didn’t have what he needed? I kept trying to figure out the situation. When he finally got to the house, he showed me his ID and told me he was there to check the a/c unit. I looked down the street, although I still could not see the heating and air conditioning service van. I could not contain my own curiosity. I had to ask where his service van was. He told me another heating and air conditioning tech had taken the service van back to the office, so it could be inspected. He had several cooling system services to do on this street. While he was going between the homes, the service van was being repaired. He would simply be back before he completed my A/C unit. In the meantime, he was going to bring back any parts he may need for the A/C units he had already inspected. My fears were founded, and it was only a case of multi-jobing for him and the heating and air conditioning contractor. Half an hour later, the heating and air conditioning service van was pulling into my driveway, and my specialist was finishing up with my A/C unit.
