Is it weird I love jumping rope?

I have become dedicated to jumping rope and double dutch.

It was an activity that I actually enjoyed a lot when I was young, plus I was quite fantastic at it.

However, I got away from it for many years. I am consistently looking out for current ways to workout plus improve my strength plus stamina. I learn from blogs plus watch exercise videos provided by professional athletes. Many of them highly recommend jumping rope as a full-body workout. I bought a leather jump rope with heavy weighted handles plus began practicing. Initially, I struggled. I kept whacking myself in the knees or stepping on the rope, however despite incorporating a lot of running, cycling, jumping jacks plus burpees into my other training sessions, I lacked enough endurance to jump for more than a minute. I gradually improved plus began incorporating more strenuous skills into the rope jumping routine. I learned how to complete crossovers, double-jumps, jump rope jacks, high knee lifts plus jumping on one foot. I wore out three weird leather ropes. I finally did some research plus invested in a new system that includes a single set of handles that fasten to four weights of different ropes. The ropes are designed from a synthetic material that doesn’t knot, bind, tangle or tear. The metal clasps that link to the handles allow me to switch ropes hastily plus easily! Plus, these ropes rotate more smoothly plus swiftly. Each weight of rope provides a particular style of working out. The jump rope system partners with a free app on my iPhone. The app offers guided workout sessions of varying difficulty plus lengths. It tracks my number of workouts, calories burned plus the overall time devoted. I jump rope just about every day.
