My associate and I were both training to be qualified cooling representatives, and when we aced the training program and topped the class, we got an offer from the popularly known cooling corporation.
My associate and I were posted in unusual teams, however we both did the same thing; help with indoor comfort. We sporadically found ourselves in the same team while doing offsite jobs, and my associate and I both enjoyed being in the cooling industry and toiling together. We gradually became a force to be reckoned with at the cooling corporation. One afternoon when we were at a friend’s home for a supper celebration, her mini split a/c system broke down. It was a holiday weekend, which meant that most companies were closed and it would be almost impossible to get a cooling tech down to the home to work on the a/c system as soon as possible. My fiance and I offered to examine the component in an attempt at a/c repair, we then established the issue, and luckily fixing it would not take long or much effort. Air conditioning service had become second nature to us, and the host joked about how he would pay in kind for the work, so my associate and I suggested a chocolate cake for dessert. She was not kidding because as soon as we said that, she adorned her apron and started baking. The other guests asked us more about a/c once we fixed the quality a/c system. When the Heating and A/C component rumbled to life, we all unconsciously clapped. My associate and I enjoyed the rest of the celebration with restored quality comfort. I prefer my job as a cooling specialist because of the smile I put on people’s faces, and it is also an added advantage when toiling with the love of your life. After a year, though, I moved to a new corporation.
