During the months of September and October, I end up having to change the air filter in our heating and air conditioning unit pretty often.
I believe that it’s because I burned so many candles during those two months, however I can’t seem to stop myself for some reason.
My fiance usually gets upset with me because she says that she has to spend too much money on air filters during the two fall months. She says that the candle soot and smoke really is not great for the indoor air quality levels in our condo and I believe that she is right about that, but I just can’t help it though. I believe that having candles burning consistently inside of the condo can’t be so great for the air quality in the house, however they just smell so good! I think that I might actually be addicted to the smells of the holidays. I like the candles that smell like sugar cookies or pine forests, however our number one scent of all is the one that smells like pumpkin pie. My fiance says that it would be much better for the air quality in our condo if I would just make some pumpkin pies instead of burning those candles all the time, however I don’t listen to her. I am actually thinking of having the ducts professionally cleaned in the condo once the holidays are over. Because I do believe that burning candles all the time isn’t great for the ducts or the ventilation unit in the house. I really should have it cleaned professionally once we are done with the holidays.
