Over the summer, our kid went to labor for a local air duct cleaning business here in town.
She wasn’t truly planning to go to this place, however the business that she wanted to go work for ended up not having any openings.
She just happened to apply for this air duct cleaning business because she saw an ad for it in the local paper. When she told myself and others that she was going to be working for an air duct cleaning business, I was a little suspicious about it at first. I did not feel that it would be something that she would be interested in doing at all. But she said that she needed a job, plus she was willing to do anything in order to make some money this summer. Well, it turned out that she ended up enjoying the duct cleaning business. She said that she liked the gentlemen that she worked for, plus she enjoyed reading about ventilation systems in homes. By the time she finished working there for the summer break, she had decided that she wanted to go to school to become a heating and cooling worker. This was a total change from what she had been reading in school, so it was very surprising to me. However, as long as she is interested in a great profession, I am happy about it. And changing her course of learning is totally fine with me, especially since she will be able to get a heating and air conditioning certification close to home. I suppose becoming a heating and air conditioning worker is a great idea.
