When we purchased the house, there were only a few residences in the neighborhood. Now the place is a huge city with restaurants, bars, clubs, museums, libraries, and grocery stores. I decided to contact a property appraiser before we put the house on the market. I also contacted a home inspection expert. The home inspection expert advised us to get an electrician due to some problems with faulty wiring that was inside of the garage and laundry area. The home inspection expert believed that another person would find these problems and this electrical issue would need to be fixed before the house could be sold. If the person was a first-time home buyer, it would be absolutely imperative for the problems to be fixed before any sale could happen. We definitely wanted to make sure that our home would be open to sell to anyone that was interested. We called an electrical contractor near me. We found a residential and commercial service company that was licensed to handle these types of repairs. The company sent two licensed electricians to look at all of the wiring problems. They had to remove some drywall and make some changes to the fixtures. The electrical contractors cost us about $2,500, but we had a seal of approval from the electrician that handled all of the problems. Next we had to tackle the pool plumbing issues and I knew that wasn’t going to be cheap either.
