I had to purchase ductless HVAC for my tiny home.

My tiny home came without HVAC and I knew I had to have it.

I called the people I bought the tiny home from, and asked what happened to the HVAC system.

They said it was included in the package, but they were wrong. The people who put my house together, didn’t find an HVAC system, and I wanted one. I was told that if I went to an HVAC company and purchased my HVAC system, they would reimburse me the cost. I called the local HVAC company and asked if they could install an HVAC system into my tiny house. They sent a contractor over, and he was going through my home. He said he had never seen a tiny house before, and it presented several interesting options for HVAC. The one he put at the top of the list, was a ductless system. Since my home was mobile, there would no reason for disconnecting when I moved. The ductless HVAC system used electricity. It was one small unit on the outside of the wall, and one inside. Since my home was small, all I would need was a single mini split HVAC system for the entire home. I asked about the price and what styles they had. I told him I wanted something with a high efficiency rating in heating, AC, and energy use. I also wanted something that didn’t need a lot of service. He showed me the ductless HVAC system he would suggest, and I asked him to have it installed. Once the HvAC system was installed, I sent a copy of the receipt to the tiny home manufacturer and had a check a month later.
