I chose to contact a licenced residential electrician

He checked each one of the outlets in the basement and he checked the box.

My daughter came to visit during the holidays and we got together at my house. She was here for 6 days, and I could not get anything done as far as chores are concerned. When my daughter went back to her place, I had about 6 loads of laundry to wash, dry, and fold. I had to go to the grocery store to stock up on eggs, bread, milk, and fabric softener. A day after her departure, I noticed a fault with the lighting in the basement. My daughter was staying in the basement but she never told me of any issues while she was here. The basement lights were flickering frequently and I didn’t know why. Sometimes the lights were great and other times they were turning on and off actually quickly. I found it wise to contact a licensed residential electrician to check the wiring. I was scared that I had a short in my house. I didn’t want a fire in the house because I didn’t contact someone when there was a warning. The electrician charged me a good fee for the work. He checked each one of the outlets in the basement and he checked the box. The guy found some small wires that were loose and chewed. There was a critter in there at some point. The electrician said I had a problem that required an exterminator. I felt good about the service that I acquired from the licensed electrician and I kept his card just in case I have future faults in the house.
