Whole-apartment dehumidifier reduces demands on air conditioning unit

Moving from the northern part of the country to the south was a big transition.

My partner plus I were surprised that actually few homes are equipped with basements.

The apartment my associate and I purchased has a water boiler installed in a closet plus a water pump situated in the front yard. We needed to remove the back porch because the wood was infested with termite. The soil is basically sand plus my associate and I have palm trees plus caucasus growing in the garden! Our apartment is not equipped with any type of heat system, plus my associate and I rely on the central air conditioning unit just about year round. In our former home, lack of humidity was an issue. During the winter, the air would become excessively dry plus lead to static shock, frizzy hair, chapped lips plus bloody noses. Down south, my associate and I have the opposite problem. The excess moisture makes the air feel sizzling plus sticky. Lowering the control unit setting cools the air but doesn’t remove the humidity. There are still troubles with mold plus mildew growth, musty smells, condensate running down the windows plus the opportunity of wood swelling plus warping. Dust mites, cockroaches plus algae thrive in moist environments. Overly high humidity can be blamed for irritating symptoms of asthma, dust irritations plus respiratory infection. To improve comfort plus air quality, my associate and I needed to invest in a whole-home dehumidifier. The device works to pull moisture out of the air as it passes through the air conditioning unit. We’re able to set higher control unit settings plus reduce the demands on the cooling system. The dehumidifier runs 24/7, operates silently plus requires only yearly upkeep.
