Wow, what a difference in HVAC technology.

I’m experiencing winter comfort in my home like I’ve never enjoyed before.

That doesn’t mean that we were miserable for all those winners with our old gas furnace. But the change in HVAC technology when it comes to residential HVAC is really stunning. We replaced our entire residential HVAC system early in the fall. We have the same HVAC technician who does the heating maintenance in the fall followed with an air conditioning tune up in the spring. So this guy, who is a consummate HVAC professional, really knows our HVAC equipment. So when he told us that it was time to get the process going when it came to replacing the central air conditioning, we listened. That meant replacing the gas furnace as well as the air conditioning unit. Both were the same age and both were wearing out at the same time. So my wife and I thought we’d start by just going online to see what our options were when it came to new HVAC technology. It didn’t take us fifteen minutes before we were completely overwhelmed with information. So we turned to the HVAC contractor at the HVAC company to help us out. He guided us to the sort of heating and cooling equipment that would work both for our needs and our budget. The HVAC equipment was installed at the end of September. But there really was no more demand for air conditioning and heating demand had yet to start. So we are now getting a full taste of the new gas furnace and it is absolutely amazing. I can only imagine how great the air conditioning is going to be next summer.
