No power, getting by with no AC

The other day I was having a truly miserable time at work. Everyone had been extremely stressed out for a few weeks and they were beginning to take it out on each other. I was pretty sick of hearing everyone arguing and a terrible energy was seeping into my core. I was feeling extremely uncomfortable and agitated, so I decided it was best that I avoid going home right away. Sometimes it’s best that I keep my negative energy to myself and tend to whatever is bugging me before I pass my bad attitude onto others. Therefore, I just kept driving and went to get some exercise. It’s a good thing I did, because when I returned home I was in for another unpleasant surprise. The power was out. This meant, there was absolutely no lights in the fading daylight. This also meant that I had no Indoor air temperature control. Of course, it was the middle of summer and it was still 90° outside. The house was not feeling great when I got in, and it proceeded to deteriorate as I waited for the air to kick back on. I was certain that the power should return at any point, so I was patiently finding tasks to complete around the house until my cooling system would come back online. I knew there was no point in trying to lay down and go to sleep until I had adequate air conditioning in my room. If the air continued to get hotter, sticker, and more stagnant, I was never going to fall asleep. As if it wasn’t a frustrating day already, I really didn’t need to sweat my butt off in summer heat all night.
