At first, I couldn’t understand my nervousness at visiting a marijuana dispensary for the first time. After all, recreational marijuana is legal now. But, my entire life it has been taboo; if you use it, be really discreet. So, a lifetime of cultural training made this a concerned situation for me. Before my superb friend and I left for the cannabis dispensary, I really took a shower, put on extra deodorant, and chose my clothes really carefully. I didn’t want to look like a bum walking into the cannabis dispensary however I didn’t want to look like a snob either. I stilll wore my Paris Hilton shades and a hat to hide my face. I was just so embarrassed. And, I made my sister go with me. This cannabis dispensary just opened however my sister has been there already. Her presence offered me courage. I must say, I was honestly amazed at the assortment of marijuana products. They had several strains of marijuana and the staff was quite knowledgeable. There were vaporizers and vape pens and edibles and topicals; I was amazed! I chose a couple of edibles and a up-to-date strain to try and my sister made her own purchases. I really had a superb time at the marijuana dispensary, however I was concerned the whole time. I don’t feel I am going to go there respectfully. That doesn’t mean that I won’t be a usual shopper of the marijuana dispensary because I will be. But, I found out that they offer delivery service so I don’t consistently have to go in person.
